Socatots, lunch and Gibside

George woke up around 7am. This morning we went to Socatots and George really enjoyed himself. We then went for lunch at the pub with Julie, Stephen, Jacob and Isobel. George had a lovely roast chicken dinner and ate a lot. When we got home George went for a nap. Daddy was home from work when George woke up, so Daddy and George decided to go for a lovely walk at Gibside. They had a great time as it was very quiet and George did lots of running.

George woke up around 6.30am. This morning we went to Team Valley to do some shopping, when we got home the builders arrived. We played in the garden until lunchtime and then went for a nap. George managed to sleep well even with the builders working. After nap we watched some Pooh bear and Tigger episodes and then made a lovely train picture.

The builders have put the flooring and ceiling in today but wont be back until Tuesday.

New window

Yesterday Denise came round in the morning and stayed for lunch, George had a good afternoon nap. Today has been very exciting. Daddy was off work this morning, Daddy and George went round to see Nan and Grandad. The window finally arrived and the plumber also came to remove the hallway radiator. After lunch George went for a nap but the builders woke him as they were knocking through to the garage and it was very loud. George and Mammy did some painting and built a train track this afternoon.

On Wednesday George and Mammy stayed in, the builders were only here for a short time as work is on hold until the window arrives.

On Thursday Gran came round and we went to Ikea. George then went to stay at Gran and Grandad's for the night. He was very good and slept well.

On Friday Mammy and Daddy went to Gran and Grandad's as well. Saturday morning we went to Stewert's park in Middlesbrough. George had a great time running and looking at all the animals. Great Grandma, Auntie Molly, Auntie Sarah and Uncle Mark came round for tea. Sunday we went to Teeside Park and to visit Great Gran. George really enjoyed his Sunday lunch and started saying 'sweetcorn' and 'peas'. We came home after George's nap.

Today we went to Saltwell Park to met Jacob and Isobel. We then went to their house for lunch, we came home and George had a 3 hour nap.

More bricks

George woke up at 6.45 this morning. The builders turned up around 9 and then George and Mammy went to Ikea to meet Denise. We had a good look around and then went for lunch. We also bumped into my friend Maria and her two children and we all went for something to eat. We did a bit more shopping and then we drove to Saltwell Park. We fed the ducks again and went in the maze. On the way out we bumped into Julie, Stephen, Jacob and Isobel.





The builders have spent most of the day finishing off the wall.

Day 1 of building work

Yesterday George , Daddy and Grandad went to visit Great Gran, Grandma and Auntie Molly. Then they had another walk at Hardwick Park. We had a lovely Sunday lunch, George ate gammon for the first time. We put George for a nap but he didn't go, he got up and started playing with his toys.

Today has been an interesting day. George got up at 6.45am. We stayed in today as it was the first day of building work on the garage. George has been very interested in all the activity. George went for his nap no problem today, he slept from 1 until 3.20. He only woke because the builders were drilling and his clock fell off the wall.

The garage door has been taken away. The builder has had trouble finding some of the darker colours of the brick but they have been able to start to build the wall.
