Out all day

George woke up at 7.30am. We drove over to Lisa's in Newcastle and all walked into the town centre. We walked through Leazes Park to see the ducks. Half of the lake was frozen and George shouted quack quack at the ducks.

We then did a bit of shopping. We went to a new restaurant in the Gate for lunch, Cafe Nino. They had a lovely children's menu, George had spaghetti with tomato sauce and a massive pot of potato skins.

George fell asleep for ages after lunch so we had another look around the shops. We walked back through the park. Just as we were leaving we discovered there is a play ground that we have never spotted before. George loved the little boat and didn't want to leave but it was getting really cold. We didn't get home until 4.30.
