First football

George was so sleepy after his injections. He slept from 6 until we woke him at 10 and then until 5am.

Daddy bought George a present for doing so well at the doctors...a ball which makes a great bo-ing sound.

Today Gran and Grandad have visited to help with some housework and to put a blind up in George's room.

Baby massage, weight loss and injections

What a day for poor George!

We went to baby massage this morning and George really enjoyed it. We massaged the chest, arms, stomach and legs this week.

Then we popped into Stanley to get a sandwich and then went back to get George weighed. He had lost a little bit of weight this week, 13lbs 2ozs so Ann suggested we see the doctor.

Dr Bisson wasn't worried about George's weight as he has no other symptoms. George did his trick of cooing and showing the doctor his feet.

So George finally had his injections. He was very brave but was really upset afterwards. He has fallen fast asleep now.

Sleepy

George has just sent himself to sleep by sucking his thumb. I have even managed to transfer him to his bed...

Back home

Gran and Grandad brought George and I back home last night. George fell asleep around 9 and we decided not to wake for his 10 o'clock feed. He woke up at 3.30 but then slept until 8 this morning.

He seems very happy this morning....

Back to Stockton

Another busy day yesterday. George and I went to the Metro centre. We went to Starbucks for some breakfast and then did a bit of shopping. We met Lisa at 12 and went for some lunch at Nando's.

We traveled to Stockton last night. Once George settled around 10 he slept until 6.45.

Fish and chips

We popped Mothercare this morning and then went to Nan and Grandad's for the afternoon. We had fish and chips and watched some of the tennis.

George seems very happy today, apart from wanting to eat anything made of fabric

3 months old today

We didn't do much yesterday as the weather was so bad. Thankfully the rain finally stopped at Wimbledon, so we got to watch some tennis. George was very sleepy all day and we had a good night. He fell asleep around 10 and woke up at 4.45 this morning.

George is 3 months old today....

Sleepy Sunday

We have all felt a little tired today. We drove to see where Daddy now works and then went to Dalton Park (which I wasn't very impressed with at all). We then went to Nan's for Sunday lunch and then did a bit of food shopping.

We popped into Starbucks in Dalton Park. George decided to eat his blanket....

Saturday at Nan's

We all went to Nan's house for the day yesterday. George got to meet his second cousin Kevin for the first time. George's lovely new pushchair arrived on Friday, haven't has much chance to use it as its been raining such much.

George didn't go to sleep until 10 but slept until 5.30 this morning.

Baby massage

We travelled back home to Stanley last night. George settled well, he slept from around 7 until 10 when we woke him for a feed. He woke up during the night for a feed around 3.30.

We have been to the baby massage class this morning and George really enjoyed it this week.

Reusable nappy trip

We took George out this morning in a reusable real nappy for the first time. He seems to be starting to really like them. Guess where we went....yes Mothercare again!

Busy day

We had a very busy day yesterday. Grandad and I travelled back to Newcastle in the afternoon for my meeting with Perfect Image. It was really nice to catch up with everybody there. While we were in Newcastle, George went to Gran's craft class.

Aunty Sarah and Uncle Mark came round in the evening for tea. I didn't get the chance to take many photos....

Mothercare again

We took George to Teesside Park this evening and had another trip to Mothercare and Borders. George had a nap when we got back and then had his bath, which he didn't enjoy as he wanted another feed.

Happy Father's Day

Yesterday George went to see his Nan, Grandad and Uncle Boggle while I went to yoga.

George is eating really at the moment since we changed the teat sizes on his bottles.

Weight update

Forgot to mention that we also got George weighed today. His new weight is 12lbs 13oz, so he has not put on much in two weeks.

Baby massage without the massage

We have been to baby massage this morning but George decided he would prefer a feed instead. Luckily it is a 4 week course so hopefully we will get the chance to take part next week.

More rain in Newcastle

We went to Newcastle yesterday to pick up my new glasses. George really enjoyed himself and was very well behaved.

We are having trouble getting him to settle on an evening again, he finally went to sleep at 10.30 last night and then woke up at 5.30 this morning.

Horrid weather

We have had a quieter day today, we popped to Nan's for lunch and then nipped to Homebase and Mothercare.

George and I have had a lovely afternoon while Dad has been to have his hair cut.

Much better night

Dad, George and Nan went to the Metrocentre yesterday as I went to Newcastle to meet Lisa for the day.

George finally settled around 8 last night so we woke him at 10 for a feed. He woke up at 4 this morning so it was a much better night.

Disrupted nights

The past two nights George has woken up during the night so we are feeling a bit tired. I went to yoga last night so George and Dad went round to see Nan.

Transporter Bridge

Dad and Grandad took George to see the Transporter Bridge and Seaton Carew this morning.

Weekend update

We went up to Stockton on Friday night, Aunty Sarah came round for tea and some drinks.

On Saturday Gran and Grandad looked after George while Dad took me to a yoga workshop. They took George to see Great Gran.

George then had a bath in the washing up bowl...

Last night we went to see Great Grandma and Aunty Molly for tea. George has been sleeping really well all weekend.

Happy Wedding Anniversary

Happy Wedding Anniversary, Nan and Grandad.



George settled really well after his bath last night, so we woke him for a feed at 10. He slept until 5 this morning and went back to sleep until 9.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar

George has been playing on his playgym today...

We had to pop to retail world this afternoon to try and get a mattress for the weekend. I also bought George The Very Hungry Caterpillar book and cuddly caterpillar toy. He is also wearing he first 3 - 6 months outfit as he is growing out of the smaller ones.

Kelly came round to see George last night while Dad went to see Uncle Boggle. George fell asleep around 9. He woke up during the night at 2 for a feed but then slept until 8.30 this morning.
