The Hiltop

Uncle Mark and Aunty Sarah came to visit this morning and took George and I to The Hiltop for lunch.
Then George and I went to tummy time. It is a much smaller group there now which is nice because all our babies are about the same age.

Sleeping

We had another good night last night. George settled around 8 and then woke for a feed around 11 but slept until 8 this morning.

He always turns over onto his front to sleep now...

Dirty water

Our water was really mucky this morning so I rang the water board to check it was safe to give to a baby. They were very good and sent someone round right away to check it was safe.

George is getting really good a lifting his head but finds it hard work....

Daddy's birthday weekend update

It has been another busy weekend. It was Daddy's birthday yesterday. We popped to the Metro centre in the morning and then went to Gran and Grandad's for lunch.

We did some housework in the afternoon and then Gran and Grandad came up for tea.

George seemed to be in pain with his teeth last night but once settled he slept until 5. He then went back to sleep and woke up at 8.30.

Daddy has taken George to see Nan today. I have been to Asda and done some more housework.

I haven't had the chance to take many photos but here is one of George looking bored in Starbucks. He doesn't look that impressed with his new pushchair toy either....

So brave

George has been so good today. He went for his injections and was so brave. He didn't even cry just stuck his pet lip out.

He has put on weight as well. His new weight is 15lbs 5ozs.

Sleeping on his front

Once George settled last night he slept well but keeps turning onto his front. We could hear him at 3 trying to turn back onto his back so we decided to feed him. He slept until 7.30 this morning.

Metro centre

Gran and Grandad came up this afternoon and we decided to go to the Metro centre. George enjoyed his first visit to the Ping On restaurant.

First drink in a cup...

George slept really well last night and didn't wake until 6.30am. He was awake at 5 playing with his cot toys but must have gone back to sleep. When I went to get him up he was lying on his front.

The health visitor suggested giving George some water in between feeds so I thought I would try giving him it in his Tommee Tippee cup. He found it very amusing but enjoyed chewing the handles...

Push-ups

I dropped George off at Nan's this afternoon so I could go to my yoga class. Daddy came to pick George up and bring him home. George has been very settled today and very sleepy.

George is still trying to do his push-ups...

Great sleep

George went to sleep around 9 last night but then woke up at 11 for a feed. He slept until 7.30 this morning.

He is now having a morning nap...

Tummy time

George was up at 3 during the night but then slept until 8 this morning.

We have had a busy day today, we went to Nan's for fish and chips. We then went to tummy time, which George seemed to really enjoy. I put him onto his tummy this week and he managed to push up really easily onto his arms and lift his head.

We are back online

Well that didn't take too long. I finished reading the book this morning and managed to not see any spoilers.

We have spent most of the weekend reading but I did go to yoga first aid training on Saturday which was really good. George and Daddy went to visit Nan, Grandad and Uncle Boggle.

George can now pull himself up when holding our hands, very impressive.

George and I are having a lazy day today...

Switching off laptop....

Due to some evil people trying to spoil the ending to Harry Potter I am now going to switch off my lap top until I finished reading it.

George woke up at 4.30 this morning and then again at 6.30.

We are having to stay in today as the man is coming to install Sky+

Gran and Grandad are coming up tonight to look after George while Daddy and I go and queue for the final Harry Potter book.

Hopefully we will be back online in a few days...

Rhyme and story time

George and I have had a busy day today. We went to Nan's for fish and chips at lunch time and then went to rhyme and story time in the afternoon. George and Joshua (the baby who lives down the road) were the youngest there and I think it might be better when they are a few months older.

George has been asleep since about 8 so fingers crossed he will have another good sleep.

I haven't had chance to take any photos tonight, so here is another one from this morning, George talking to activity monkey...

Great evening

We travelled back to Stanley last night. Gave George a bath, feed and put him to bed at 8. He was really good and fell asleep around 8.30 and slept until 5 this morning.

Bumbo and blocks

It has been a quiet day today, as I was trying to finish my yoga homework so Gran took George out for a few hours.

George has been sleeping well the past few days generally from 9 until 6. He still does not want to sleep on an evening.

We can't all be happy all of the time....

More rolling

Gran, George and I have been to Thirsk this morning and bought George a little counting book to clip onto his pushchair.

George has managed to roll onto his front and then roll back onto his back. The first time he did it he was in his cot and it really upset him but he seems to finding it much easier now.

Monday update

Gran, Grandad, Daddy, George and I met Aunty Sarah and Uncle Mark for tea at The Masham.

Aunty Sarah and Uncle Mark bought George some lovely blocks. Here are some action shots....

Rolling

I went to yoga yesterday so George and Daddy went to see Nan. George can now roll onto his side very easily.

Gran and Grandad came up last night so Daddy and I could go and see Harry Potter and the order of the phoenix. The film was great. We managed to go for a pizza and a glass of wine before the film started.

Wet Whitby

We decided to have a trip to Whitby on Friday, unfortunately the weather was horrid. We went to a cafe, and even managed to have a walk along the pier.

We then went to a lovely pub just outside Whitby called the Cross Butts. Daddy came home last night. George took ages to settle last night, but finally went to sleep at 11 but slept until 6 this morning.
George has learnt to suck his feet...
