Sunshine and snow showers

Yesterday afternoon George and I went to play zone to meet Hannah and Joshua.

George woke up at 6.45am this morning. George didn't want his morning bottle so he had his milk in a beaker instead. Daddy and George had breakfast together this morning.

George seems a little unsettled today. I think he is confused by the crazy weather of sunshine, gales and snow showers.

No morning nap

George has been sleepy all morning but wouldn't go for a nap.



He had a lovely lunch of pasta with bacon and cottage cheese sauce.

He was tired and fell straight to sleep after lunch. He fell asleep lying on all his toys with his leg stuck in the bars. I went in to free the leg and luckily didn't wake him.

Good morning Daddy

George slept in this morning and didn't see Daddy again. George had another good nights slept from 6.30pm until 7.45am.

Shopping is hard work

George and I met Lisa at the Metro centre today. We had a lovely day and George really enjoyed himself.

George found shopping very tiring...

George has been brave enough to try my banana muffins today. He seemed to like them but kept trying to hand me some.

Banana muffins

George and I have had a busy day today. We went to crawlers to walkers this morning which George really enjoyed. We then went to Asda and the toy library. Hannah and Joshua then came round for lunch.

I baked George some banana muffins yesterday but he is not impressed and wont even try them.

Getting around

George is really starting to enjoy walking around with us holding his hands.

Windy walk along the beach

George slept in again this morning until 8am. We then went for a walk along the seafront at South Shields. It was so windy we had to put George's rain cover on his pushchair. We then went for Sunday lunch at Nan and Grandad's. George really enjoyed Yorkshire puddings again.

Saturday

George slept in until 8 yesterday. We went to Tescos in the morning and then went to see Nan and Grandad for lunch.

DVD's

George and I went to Newcastle yesterday. We met Kelly and Julia for lunch at The New Bridge pub. George really enjoyed himself and loved watching everybody in the pub.

This morning George has realised he can now reach another shelf of DVD's...

Toy library

George and I met Hannah and Joshua in Stanley this morning. We went to the toy library at Sure Start for the first time. George really enjoyed having lots of different toys and books to play with.

We stayed in this afternoon and George had a two hour nap.

Baby walker

George had a good night sleep from 7pm until 7.30 this morning.

We are having another day in the house as there is still a bit of snow about.

George is getting good at using his baby walker...

Snow!

George woke up at 10pm last night but we managed to settle him back to sleep. Waking up at the time must have he worn him out as he slept in until 8 this morning.

We went to crawlers to walkers this morning. George enjoyed himself but was a bit tired. The rain was really heavy when we went but in the space of an hour it turned into snow blizzards...

Weekend update

On Friday night we all stayed at Gran and Grandad. Then on Saturday afternoon we called into to see Auntie Sarah and Uncle Mark. Clare, Darren, Jack and Holly also came round.

Today George and Daddy have been to see Nan and Grandad's.

George had pasta for his tea tonight, he ate quite a bit but the bowl ended up on the floor under his highchair.

Homework

George and I have been busy again doing homework and preparing to set my classes up. We popped to Stanley on Wednesday afternoon but stayed in on Thursday.

George has been sleeping and eating well this week. He did wake up at about 10 last night but managed to settle himself back to sleep.

Crawlers to walkers

Sorry about the lack of updates, George and I have had a busy few days.

On Monday we went to Crawlers to walkers for the first time, which George really enjoyed. In the afternoon George helped me to do some homework.

Today we went to see Craghead Village hall where I am going to be teaching my yoga class. Anne the health visitor came round for a check up. George weighs 19lbs 8ozs, so has put on 1lb since the beginning of December. She was really pleased with him and his eating.

New car seat

Daddy, George and I have been to Halfords this morning to get George's new car seat. George seems very happy with it and had no trouble falling asleep in it. When then went to Nan and Grandad's for Sunday lunch.

Big trolley

George and I had a trip to Asda this morning. George went in a big seat in the trolley for the first time. He really loved it but did try and pull things off the shelves.

This afternoon we popped to Hannah and Joshua's for a couple of hours.
