First hair cut

Yesterday George woke at 6.10 and was shouting very loudly. Daddy and George went to pick a parcel up from the sorting office in the morning and then went to see Nan and Grandad for lunch.

In the afternoon Gran and Grandad came round and stayed for tea. We decided to give George's hair a little trim as it was getting a bit long and in his eyes.

George had a little lie in this morning and woke around 7.20am. George has been playing in the pop up tunnel and it has made his hair go very static. George has started to love his Postman Pat and Thomas vehicles and carries them around all the time.

Socatots

George went to sleep well last night after all the excitement with the electricity going off. He slept until 7.20am. We went to Socatots this morning, George was a little tired but enjoy getting the sticker at the end.

We stayed in the rest of the day. George likes to go and get the post when it arrives but has worked out that he can also push the post back outside.

Power cut

George woke up around 7am. This morning Julie, Jacob and baby Isobel came round and stayed for lunch.

George was very tired after they left and slept for 3 hours. When Daddy was getting George out of the bath all the power went off in the street. George loved the torch but wasn't happy the television wouldn't go on.

Daddy feeling a little better

George woke up at 7am. George and I walked to toddler group this morning. George had a lovely time and spent a lot of time playing with the play dough.

George had a good afternoon nap. I made George some chicken burgers for tea but he didn't like them.

Glitter

George woke at 7.45am. We went to toddler group this morning, George made a lovely glitter picture and a glitter Christmas decoration. We managed to get glitter everywhere.

George went for his nap at 1 and didn't wake up until 4.30. Daddy has been poorly today and has had even longer naps than George.

Weekend update

George woke up at 7.25 on Saturday morning. Gran and Grandad came to pick George up and he stayed at their house over night.

Gran and Grandad brought George home on Sunday afternoon and stayed for tea.

Today George woke up a bit earlier than normal, around 5.50am. He was very tired this morning. We went to see Nan and Grandad and Uncle Colin was also there. We came home and George had a two hour nap. We then went to Asda and then George had a sweetcorn pizza for his tea.

Baking cakes

George woke up around 7.45 this morning. As we have had a busy week and the weather was bleak we decided to stay in.

We baked and iced some fairy cakes. George was very good at mixing and they turn out very tasty.

Another busy week

On Tuesday George and I went to the Catchgate toddler group. George had a great time. He iced a fairy cake, did some potato printing and made a Christmas picture.

On Wednesday we walked to the toddler group at the top of the road. George had a very good afternoon nap both days. I made my first ever Christmas cake in the afternoon and George was happy to test it.

This morning George woke up early but went back to sleep until 8am. This morning we have been to Julie and Jacob's house, who we met at Socatots. The boys had a great play. We stayed for lunch and George ate loads.

Another lovely day out

George and I drove over to Lisa's this morning. We decided to go to the Metro centre as the weather wasn't very nice. George had a play in the early learning centre and then walked to Nandos for lunch. After lunch George fell asleep and we did some shopping.

George had a lovely time and has been very happy all day.

Busy weekend

On Thursday George and I had a walk along the street and then played in the garden. In the afternoon Great Grandma and Auntie Molly came round and we went to The Hilltop for lunch.

Friday morning we went to Socatots which George really enjoyed. On Saturday Gran and Grandad came to visit. George had an early nap and then in the afternoon Gran and Grandad took George to the park at Chester le street.

This morning we had a lovely walk at Saltwell Park. George loved the play area and seeing all the swans and ducks. We then went to the Metrocentre which was very busy and we bumped into Auntie Sarah and Uncle Mark and went to Costa coffee.
