Painting!

George woke up at 7.30am. We went to toddler group this morning. We came home for lunch and then George had a nap. We he woke up we decided to do some painting on George's easel in the kitchen. George loved it and did a lovely painting of Mammy.

Quieter day

George slept until 8 again yesterday. We went round to see Julie, Jacob and Isobel in the morning. We went all went for a play outside and then had some lunch. We came home for George's nap. After his nap we played with trains.

Nan's birthday

George and Daddy slept in until 8 this morning. George was still very tired after his party yesterday. We went to Beamish for an hour and George was very excited to see the trams.

We then went for lunch with Nan, Grandad, Uncle Colin and Vicky at The Angel for Nan's birthday. George was a bit unhappy when we got there as he was tired but was a bit happier after eating a Yorkshire pudding. We then came home so George could have a nap, he slept for 2 hours. We then went for a play in the garden. George had a great time playing with his new sand pit. It was getting a bit cold so we came in and watched Monsters Inc.

2nd Birthday Party

George woke up at 6.30 yesterday and was excited as it was his second birthday party. Gran, Grandad, Auntie Sarah, Uncle Mark, Nan, Grandad, Uncle Colin and Vicky came round and George opened his lovely presents. We had some lunch and then George had a very short nap.

In the afternoon Julie, Stephen, Jacob and Isobel came round. George and Jacob had a great time playing with all the new toys. Great Grandma and Auntie Molly then came round. George and Jacob sat together to eat their tea and were very noisy but ate well.

George went to bed around 7.30, he was very tired and fell straight to sleep.

Thursday and Friday

We had a busy day on Thursday, Denise who lives in Austrailia came round to visit. The weather wasn't very nice so we went to Team Valley and then to the Hilltop for lunch.

On Friday George and I went to Socatots. In the afternoon Daddy and George went to do some shopping.

George has got his hat on

The weather wasn't very nice on Monday so George and I went to Asda. We then met Julie, Jacob and Isobel at the Metrocentre. We went for lunch at Debenhams. George had a nap when we got home. George chose a very large Buzz lightyear cup from the Disney shop.

On Tuesday George and I went to toddler group. George had a great time making a painting using the toy cars. We came home for lunch and then George had a 3 hour nap.

Today George and I have been to toddler group. George had such a great time. He spent the whole session wearing a straw hat which everyone found very funny. I tried to get some photos but they are a bit blurry.
