A lovely day at the seaside

George woke up at 6.30am. We have had a fantastic day at the beach today sadly Daddy had to go to work. We packed a picnic and left the house at 9.30am and drove to South Shields beach. We met Julie, Stephen, Jacob and Isobel and their friend Clare with her three children. All the children had a great time digging and paddling in the sea. We had our picnic and then more digging in the sand. Around 3pm we walked for an ice cream but George was too tired to eat it. We then went to the play ground and George was very impressed with the little train that drove around. We then walked back to the car park and set off home. George fell asleep in the car on the way home as he was shattered.
